An intense safety performance crash was designed and processed to validate the inside behaviour of the modules during a high speed crash. The speed reached during testing was 34.9mph. The weight that the modules contained was 250kg of ballast.
The results were analysed by a digital camera, two on-board cameras and a video camera 3/4 view.

The results of the test were as follows;
No ejection of ballast bags
No movement of the modules
Slight deformation of the vehicle body shell
The two pictures below show the 'before' and 'after' shots. As you can see, all that has happened is the base unit has opened and one of the drawers is slightly distorted.
